Vol-012-1 Faux Pebble Beads: How to create faux rock beads that look just like pebbles off the beach. The video will show you quick tips for creating several realistic looking stone effects using clay, sand and a broken real rock for texture. As well, explanation is provided on how to shape and finish your faux pebbles for jewelry.

Cindy, thanks so much for all of your tutorials, color cards, tips, ideas and feedback to other members! I have learned so much in the past few months and have you to thank! Continued success! I'll be here for a very long time! Now I'm off to make some rocks!

How fun! And I really like the lacing through the bead rock idea - very clever and effective.

I've been wanting to make stone beads, and now I have the info to do it. I don't have any sand... but I can use a little dirt or spices. I even used som little bits of kosher salt to make craters. The salt disappeared after washing the baked beads, leaving craters in the bead surface.

Love the look... and no sanding required! That's my style!

Hi Cindy, well once again you have out done yourself with the tutorial. I love the faux pebbles. Have wondered what the recipe was, I'm so glad you featured this here. Thanks again.

~Adrienne-L

What a cool idea! I will be making these for sure.

My grandson thrilled me last night by asking if he could make jewelry. He and his sister are coming today for a play day, so as usual your timing is perfect with this topic. I am so gifted on this special day to have you for inspiration and guidance. Thank you Cindy.

Cindy, I was just thinking about stamping words and names into faux stone clay pendants with my alphabet stamps. I had an idea to try and backfill them in a contrasting colour of clay, it'd be finicky but not any more so than many other jewellery techniques. Thanks for being so thorough in spreading your knowledge.

This tute is wonderful. Just a couple of chores to get out of the way first, and then I am on my way. Have a wonderful day. Many thanks.

As always Cindy adds that super flair.... I have tried other faux techniques and was not happy with the outcome... this one is wonderful. Thanks Cindy.
